From fat to fabulous. Never in a million years did I dream I’d be able to walk a hiking trail like this last year. 6 dress sizes dropped. 64 pounds of unwanted fat gone. Feeling fit and fabulous.

When I moved close to Yosemite last year… I never dreamed I’d be able to walk the long trails with my husband Mike.

We were both severely overweight.

My weight had ballooned out of control since my late thirties.
No longer did I look good or even remember what it was like to fit into a pair of skinny jeans.

I was out of breath from just running in to drop off groceries...

And when I ran into my old friends in public, I'd avoid them on purpose because I felt ashamed about how I looked.

My face looked puffy...

My belly was enormous...

My neck must have disappeared...

Honestly I didn't recognize myself.

Meanwhile my blood pressure and cholesterol were sky high.
